Both Montessori and Reggio Emilia pedagogies are strongly rooted in respect for both nature and people. Maria Montessori, the founder of Montessori pedagogy, was a pioneer in sustainable development and social justice. She emphasized that children have a natural connection to nature and an instinct to care for it.
Reggio Emilia pedagogy, known for its innovative and aesthetic learning environments, also places a strong emphasis on sustainability. Reuse and reuse are central elements in their kindergartens, and children are encouraged to think critically about how they can contribute to a more sustainable world.

Local collaborations, reuse and redesign
Our signature products are made from wood from local forests in Norway. The storage bags are sewn from Norwegian wool upholstery fabric. We promote recycling and reuse in all parts of our operations, and think about our ecological footprint every time we make a decision.
